Before you start your back-to-school shopping, I wanted to tell you about two new ways you can support the kids at the schools I visited in Uganda. Please take a minute to read this blog post and help if you can.

Here are all of the supplies that will be delivered to the students at Nkumba Christian Primary and May Christian College in 19 days.
My trip is suddenly becoming real to my students.

I heard about this book a few months ago, and just the other day I found a practically brand new copy of it at Half-Price Books (always the bargain shopper)!
I reached out to the head of the Social Studies Department for my school district for help with creating a unit on my Uganda trip that is accessible to all levels of learners.
My students exchange letters with the students in Uganda starting every September (since 2012).
