My trip is suddenly becoming real to my students.
I leave for Uganda in 29 days!
I finally had my global entry interview!
Thank you so much to the Alvin Sun newspaper and publisher David Rupkalvis for their great article about my trip in today’s edition. So excited to be on the front page!
I heard about this book a few months ago, and just the other day I found a practically brand new copy of it at Half-Price Books (always the bargain shopper)!
I had an interview scheduled earlier this week at Bush Intercontinental Airport for Global Entry.
Today I went to Passport Health to get my yellow fever vaccine (YF-VAX) that is required to enter Uganda.
I reached out to the head of the Social Studies Department for my school district for help with creating a unit on my Uganda trip that is accessible to all levels of learners.
My students exchange letters with the students in Uganda starting every September (since 2012).
There was a bit of a mix-up with communication in two letters ago.
